Nanotechnology for new energy conversion and storage: Triboelectric nanomaterials and nanogenerators; Piezoelectric nanomaterials and nanogenerators; Water splitting; Supercapacitor; Batteries (Lithium ion, Lithium air, Lithium Sulfur, Magnesium air, Sodium Sulfur, etc); Hydrogen storage; Fuel cell; Solar cell. 2. Nanotechnology for conventional energy industry: Nanocatalysis; Enhanced oil recovery; Oil transportation; Coal to chemical conversion; Gas purification and separation; Carbon dioxide capture and sequestration.
