In today's rapidly evolving landscape, female scientists have emerged as an indispensable force in the realm of scientific research. A growing number of outstanding women are making significant contributions globally, particularly in the field of nanotechnology. These female scientists are driving breakthroughs in science and technology through their unique perspectives and keen insights, infusing new vitality into social development.
The first Female Scientists Forum at the ChinaNANO conference, co-organized by National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST) and China Women’s Association for Science and Technology (CWAST), aims to focus on the development of female leadership in the scientific research community. Our mission is to enhance gender equality and support the career advancement of female scientists by providing essential platforms, resources, and support. We promote international collaboration and innovation in women's scientific research and higher education, with the goal of inspiring and empowering young females to contribute to scientific excellence and societal progress. In this forum, leading female scientists will share their journey in science - challenges, triumphs, and success. It will be a great opportunity to listen, get career advice, network and ask questions.
The Round Table Discussion session will feature prominent female leaders from the technology and science sectors who will share their experiences and engage in discussions about the cultivation and challenges of female leadership in this new era. Together, we will explore strategies to foster an inclusive environment that nurtures the next generation of female scientists and leaders.
