1. The Science China Materials-Innovation Forum 2022

Science China Materials is proud to announce The Science China Materials-Innovation Forum 2022 to be held at ChinaNANO 2022, on August 14. The Forum will be organized as a half-day session with around 6~8 invited lectures. All talks will be presented by the distinguished board members of Science China Materials together with other leading scientists in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The forum is intended to showcase exceptionally high quality and cutting-edge research results and perspectives on future directions of some forefront areas of nanoscale science, and to build up the strong relationship between Science China Press and the scientific community.
Introduction to Science China Materials
Science China Materials is an international peer-reviewed journal that covers all aspects of materials science. It is aimed to provide a platform for timely communication of high quality and innovative research results at the cutting-edge interface of materials science with chemistry, physics, biology and engineering.
The journal is supervised by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. It is jointly published by Science China Press and Springer. Led by its founding Editor-in-Chief, Professor Yadong Li from the Department of Chemistry at the Tsinghua University, Science China Materials has fast become a flagship journal in materials science based in China.

2. Nano Research Forum 2022

Nano Research is pleased to announce the Nano Research Forum 2022 to be held at ChinaNANO 2022, on August 14. The forum will be organized as a half-day session with around 6~8 invited lectures. All talks will be presented by the leading scientists in the nano field. The forum is intended to supply a platform to showcase high quality and cutting-edge research results and perspectives on future directions of nanoscience and nanotechnology, to facilitate more effective communications, and to strengthen the existing collaborations between the scientific community and Nano Research.
Introduction to Nano Research
Nano Research is a peer-reviewed, international and interdisciplinary academic journal, sponsored by Tsinghua University and the Chinese Chemical Society. It offers readers an attractive mix of authoritative and comprehensive reviews and original cutting-edge research papers cover all aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
After more than 10 years’ development, Nano Research has become one of the most influential academic journals in the nano field. Rapid review to ensure quick publication is one of the key features of Nano Research. In 2019 Journal Citation Reports, the impact factor was 8.18, the total cites reached 19,099, and the number of highly cited papers reached 105, ranked among the top 3.8% of nearly 7000 academic journals, both ranking first in China's international academic journals.

3. The Small Sciences Symposium

The Small Sciences Symposium is one of the traditional events in ChinaNano conference since 2013, co-organized by Wiley and the International Conference on Nanoscience and Technology, China. As a Special Section within the ChinaNANO conference, the 6th Small Sciences Symposium will be held in Beijing on August 14th, 2022, encompassing 15 invited lectures (20 minutes each) presented by our distinguished Advisory Board Members of Wiley journals and the awardees of the 2022 Small Young Innovator Award (to be announced). The symposium is intended to bring together the leading scientists, highlight the cutting-edge research at the forefront of nanoscience and nanotechnology, and strengthen the relationships between Wiley and the scientific community. There will also be a ceremony at the end of the symposium to celebrate the milestones achieved by Small-family journals, including Small, Small Methods, Small Structures and Small Science.

4. Elsevier Materials Today Forum

In 2022, the Elsevier | Materials Today journal forum will this year address a topic which looks to the future. A panel of world class scientists will be brought together, unified in their discussion of a shared goal: how materials science research can address key global challenges. Materials science is an inherently interdisciplinary – and therefore collaborative – project, and the findings in materials underpin key developments in a wide range of areas, from health, energy, industry, infrastructure and production. These are critical areas of focus as we look to protect the planet and humanity from the challenges ahead. Please join us for a stimulating series of presentations and discussions of the challenges, opportunities, and ways forward.

ACS Nano Lectureship Symposium

We are pleased to welcome you to our 10^th annual ACS Nano Lectureship symposium, which will be held at ChinaNano on August 14^th. To honor the contributions of scientists whose work has significantly impacted the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, each year one award lecturer is selected from among scientists and engineers from each of three regions: Africa/Europe/Middle East, the Americas, and Asia/Pacific. This year, Lectureship award winners from both 2021, Profs. Sara Bals, Mauricio Terrones, and Dongyuan Zhao, and those postponed from 2020, Profs. Jillian Buriak, Lei Jiang, and Stefan Maier, will present their lectures. We are anticipating a spectacular symposium and are looking forward to our return to ChinaNano.

6. IOP Publishing (IOPP)

IOP Publishing (IOPP) is pleased to announce IOP Future of Nanotechnology Symposium at ChinaNANO 2022 on 14 August.

The morning session on Energy features five distinguished speakers, chaired by Prof. Caofeng PAN.

The afternoon session will start with a session on Surfaces and Interfaces in Low-Dimensional Systems with four speakers from Peking University and Institute of Physics of CAS, and chaired by Prof. Wencai Ren. This will be followed by a Meet the Editors panel featuring Editors-in-Chief and editorial board members from 2D Materials, Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, Journal Phys: Energy, JPhys Materials, Materials Futures and Nanotechnology. The session will conclude with the presentation of the IOP Outstanding Early Career Investigator in Nanoscience Award, with an invited talk given by the winner.

IOP Publishing is calling for nominations for its ‘Outstanding Early Career Investigator in Nanoscience Award’ which recognizes and rewards the exceptional achievements of early career researchers in nanoscience.

The award, which is being held to coincide with ChinaNano 20 22, will celebrate scientific excellence and exceptional promise for future contributions in nanoscience relating specifically to energy or 2D materials and other low-dimensional systems. To qualify, candidates will be within 10 years of completing their PhD and based in China.
