Founded in early 2023, Guangdong Advanced Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. is a new material technology enterprise established by a number of researchers with educational and working experience from US, Germany, Sweden and other countries, dedicated to the production and application of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and lithium-battery separator coating materials. Our goal is to serve industries and fields such as lithium battery, petrochemical, gas industry, carbon dioxide capture, drying and dehumidification, etc., aiming to provide customers with controllable cost and environmentally friendly new material options with excellent performance. Our company has built a 4,000-square-meter R&D base in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City. With a total investment of 20 million RMB, our laboratory is equipped with various types of instruments and equipment. Our angel round and Pre-A round have raised a total of more than 100 million RMB. Currently we have 50 employees, among which 10 hold doctoral degree, and more than 60% are R&D researcher.
We work with nearly 100 university professors at home and abroad. Our talent team has applied for dozens of core invention patents and published more than 100 papers in top journals in related fields. In 2023, our company has be approved as a postdoctoral innovation practice base in Guangdong Province.
We have received many prizes and awards since the establishment of our company, including the championship of Zhuhai City, first prize of Guangdong Province, and second place in the new material category in the national finals in China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2023. Besides, we also won the championship of the Guangdong "Zhongchuang Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the same year. In 2024, we won the championship in "Maker China" in Zhuhai. So far we have obtained the titles of National High-tech Enterprise, Guangdong Small and Medium-sized Sci-Te Enterprise, and Guangdong Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise.
